It’s that time of year again. The Brisbane Lord Mayor has this week launched the Women in Business Grant for 2022. They will be providing funding of up to $5,000 to support female business owners to develop their business and build their business capabilities or access professional services that will boost the local economy.

The grant applications opened at 9am on 6/10/22 and will close at 4pm 3/11/22. There is a limit of one application per business and any funding received must be spent after receipt of the grant and before 30/6/23.

Examples of what the funding can be used for are -

  • Professional services to develop business, marketing, ecommerce and financial strategies
  • Training and education
  • The cost of business equipment
